Named after her grandmother, Ashley (Catherine) recreated this gorgeous portrait of her grandmother (top image) to give to her Mom Carolyn as a Mother's Day gift. The resemblance between the two is striking.

I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to live in these old and majestic mountains, in what I consider one of the prettiest places in the southeast. There is nothing better than being able to experience all four seasons, especially Fall. I enjoy year round hiking with so many amazing views and waterfalls and drives along the parkway.

I get to experience a mix of city and country life here and I love to see live music with friends.  Asheville offers a little something for everyone and I am so glad to call it home.
